Film producer, Anant Singh attended the presentation of the budget speech by Minister of Finance, Pravin Gordhan in parliament in Cape Town earlier today.
Below is Singh’s statement commenting on the budget:
“Minister Gordhan has delivered an excellent budget under very difficult circumstances. He has provided the framework for stimulation of the economy and a road map for the next three years, which will benefit all South Africans.
One of the key things is the implementation of the proposals for the public sector and the consolidation of this sector.
Whilst there is a great deal of work to be done, the budget presented is achievable and it bodes well for the future of our country.”
