Producer Anant Singh announced today that principle photography began this week on Mama Jack, the latest film from South Africa�s King of Comedy, Leon Schuster. The Mr Bones team of producers, Anant Singh and Helena Spring and director, Gray Hofmeyr collaborate once again with Schuster on Mama Jack. The film is shooting on location in Cape Town.
“We are thrilled to be working with Leon Schuster once again,” says Anant Singh. “Leon has consistently had success at the local box office as his brand of comedy has phenomenal appeal. “Mama Jack compares with the international hit Mrs Doubtfire and we believe that the film will be a runaway success both in South Africa and abroad,” continued Singh. Mama Jack is scheduled to be released in South Africa on 2 December 2005.
