The Codes of Good Practice allows for companies with a Value Added Status (VAS) an enhanced recognition of 125% on the value of purchases from suppliers. Videovision Entertainment has been deemed a value adding supplier and as such, all clients can recognize a further 125% of all purchases from the company, over and above the normal 135% recognition allowed from our Level 1 status. Clients can therefore recognize 168.75% of all purchases from Videovision Entertainment towards their BEE procurement scorecard.

Next Entertainment distributes home entertainment product in South Africa and holds the rights for some of the major Hollywood studios including 20th Century Fox, MGM, Universal, Dreamworks Animation and a number of other libraries.
Cape Town Film Studios
Videovision Entertainment has developed Cape Town Film Studios, the R500 million, state-of-the-art film studio facility in the Faure area outside Cape Town. Equipped with the latest technology, the studios cover an area of 200 hectares with 60 hectares for film studios and associated facilities and the remainder for commercial, industrial and residential development.
eThekwini Film City
Currently in development is eThekwini Film City on the Natal Command site on the Durban beachfront. Anchored by eThekwini Film Studios, it will comprise of Sound Stages and Production Workshops, the Walk of Fame, television studios, editing suites, a Back Lot set area, Midway Centre and a Museum of South African Cinema.
The Pearls of Umhlanga
The Pearls of Umhlanga is a prestigious, seven-star, high-rise residential complex situated in the tourism belt of Umhlanga, north of Durban, The Pearls is a luxury development with 260 apartments at present. Currently completing construction is Pearl Sky, the final phase of the development which, on completion, will comprise of 420 luxurious residential apartments and a premium mall offering upscale shopping with the country’s most stylish boutiques, designer labels and the finest restaurants.
Dreamworld Management Company
Dreamworld Management Company is the developer of 100 hectares of land in Cape Town. The development will comprise of residential and commercial components and is currently in the design phase.
Videovision Entertainment is a partner in Tsiya Group (Pty) Ltd, an investment and venture capital company in partnership with Investec Bank Limited. Its investments include commercial radio stations.

Videovision Entertainment is a partner with American Tower Corporation in ATC South Africa, the leading independent wireless, shared infrastructure provider in South Africa. ATC South Africa currently owns 1 800 cellular transmission tower sites in South Africa and has a strategy to expand to more than two thousand new sites.
Signature Cosmetics & Fragrances
Videovision Entertainment is a shareholder in Signature Cosmetics and Fragrances, a niche retailer of cosmetics and toiletry products, with a chain of over 100 stores in Southern Africa. The chain offers a range of house-branded products as well as international branded products which include colour cosmetics, fragrances, body sprays, and skin treatments.
Phutuma Nathi / MultiChoice
Videovision Entertainment is a BEE participant in Phutuma Nathi a wholly owned black South African company that holds 20% of MultiChoice South Africa.
Smile 90.4FM which broadcasts in the Cape Town Metropole and surrounding areas, is an adult contemporary radio station, broadcasting a mix of music and talk, in English and Afrikaans. It has emerged as the fastest growing radio station in the country.
