VIDEOVISION ENTERTAINMENT ACQUIRES ANOTHER DURBAN FILM FESTIVAL WORLD PREMIERE FILM
Sanjeev Singh, Director of Acquisition and Distribution of Videovision
Entertainment announced today the acquisition ofA Small Town Called Descent
prior to its World Premiere at the Durban International Film Festival, on
Saturday, 24 July 2010. A Small Town Called Descent is the stylish debut
feature film from talented South African director Jahmil XT Qubeka and which
stars Vusi Kunene, Paul Buckby, Fana Mokoena and Isidingo's Hlubi Mboya.
A Small Town Called Descent follows three Scorpion agents in their
investigation of xenophobic attacks that took place in a small town. A
darkly humorous look at South Africa's political dynamics, it features
powerful performances from its all star cast. The film showcases a strong
and unapologetic voice and an honest but resonant portrait of South African
life.
Commenting on the acquisition of the film by Videovision Entertainment,

A Small Town Called Descent is scheduled to be released by Videovision
